The Harriers 3rd Four Play outdoor volleyball tournament went ahead at the 2nd time of asking at Spencer Meadows in Sandridge, St Albans on Sunday 14th August.
The weather was good and all who turned up looked like they were enjoying themselves.
Teams from the local counties and North London took part in this fun 4-a-side format and were fueled with bacon rolls and hamburgers so they could last the whole days schedule.
For the 3rd year running, the mens division was won by the Punjab Roadways, as they beat home team, Jet Lags, 2-0 in the final.
The mixed division was a more competitive division and after the 15 teams fought hard to win their pools and work their way through the knockout stage. We were then left with perenial finalists, Cerus from London playing Chi chis from Enfield. This match went the whole way to the 3rd set playoff where Chi chis edged out Cerus 15-13 to win the division.
